Deepak Gupta is the founder of AcrossAI, where he builds self-hosted MCP tooling that lets AI assistants work directly inside a WordPress site. He has spent years as a senior WordPress engineer on high-traffic sites handling live payments, including GiveWP.com and BuddyBoss.com, and has built custom extensions for WooCommerce, GiveWP, BuddyBoss and LearnDash. He contributes to the WordPress MCP Adapter and takes part in the Core AI team’s weekly meetings. He is interested in where the line sits between what an AI agent should be allowed to do on a site and what it should not.
