I have been working on WordPress projects for more than ten years now, where I create websites for companies, build plugins, and find new ways to optimise the web. Initially, my involvement in WordPress was purely developer-related, however, during the last decade, it evolved from being just a job to being a passion for open-source development, community work, and education.
I contribute to the WordPress project regularly, and I have already contributed to the Core team, Meta team, and the Photos team etc. In terms of professional interests, I am keen on building WordPress solutions and developing new plugins.
Apart from my career interests, I have made great contributions to the WordPress community as well. In addition to being a member of WordPress Campus Connect Ajmer, which enables me to mentor students and initiate them into WordPress and open source, I have also participated in WordCamp Asia, where I interacted with contributors and community members all around the world.
What I love about WordPress is its community. Whether it is mentoring students, initiating them into WordPress, or organising events like WordCamps, everything is extremely exciting for me.
