After inviting our WordPress community to design the Wapuu for the first-ever WordCamp Rajasthan, we can finally introduce you to our very own <strong>Wapuu Sa!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And what can we say? Our little Wapuu has truly embraced the Rajasthani spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From the colorful pagdi and traditional-inspired outfit to the earrings, mojari-style shoes, and a beautifully decorated camel by his side, every detail has a little story to tell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, let\u2019s take a closer look at the newest member of the WordCamp Rajasthan family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u0916\u092e\u094d\u092e\u093e \u0918\u0923\u0940, Wapuu Sa!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">First things first, why <strong>Wapuu Sa?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Rajasthan, <strong>&#8220;Sa&#8221; (\u0938\u093e)<\/strong> is often added after a person\u2019s name or title to express respect and affection. And we all know how much love the WordPress community has for Wapuu!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, when our Wapuu came to Rajasthan, he couldn\u2019t simply be Wapuu anymore. The different layers and patterns give it a festive Rajasthani feel and make sure our Wapuu Sa stands out wherever he goes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The pagdi isn\u2019t just the finishing touch to the outfit. It&#8217;s helping Wapuu Sa look right at home in Rajasthan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And we have to admit, he wears it rather well! \ud83d\ude04<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dressed in Traditional Rajasthani Style<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wapuu Sa has gone all-in with his WordCamp outfit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He is wearing a bright <strong>red kurta,<\/strong> paired with a flowing <strong>light<\/strong> <strong>pink dhoti-style<\/strong> lower garment and a <strong>green waistband<\/strong>. The combination of bright colors gives the outfit a cheerful, festive look that perfectly suits Rajasthan\u2019s vibrant character.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And then come those shoes!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wapuu Sa is wearing <strong>traditional-style mojari shoes<\/strong>, adding the perfect finishing touch to his outfit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From his head to his feet, he is ready to say: \u201c<strong>\u092a\u0927\u093e\u0930\u094b \u0938\u093e!\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Traditional Touch: The Earrings <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Take a closer look at Wapuu Sa, and you\u2019ll notice the <strong>traditional earrings<\/strong> adding another beautiful detail to his look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jewelry has long been an important part of Rajasthan\u2019s rich cultural heritage, and earrings such as <strong>gold hoops, balas, and jhumkas<\/strong> are among the traditional styles seen across the region. They can carry cultural, social, and spiritual significance, making them much more than a simple accessory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For Wapuu Sa, the earrings add another layer of Rajasthani character to the design. Along with the colorful pagdi, traditional outfit, and mustache, they help bring the entire look together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">And That Mustache!<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Of course, we can\u2019t forget the <strong>mustache.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wapuu Sa\u2019s cheerful mustache gives him a little extra personality and adds another recognizable touch to his Rajasthani-inspired look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Meet Wapuu Sa\u2019s Travel Companion \ud83d\udc2a<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The camel!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A Rajasthani-inspired Wapuu wouldn\u2019t feel quite complete without one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The camel is closely associated with Rajasthan\u2019s desert landscapes, culture, traditions, and everyday life. So naturally, Wapuu Sa needed a camel companion for his journey to WordCamp Rajasthan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But just like Wapuu Sa, this camel isn\u2019t here in an ordinary way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s dressed up for WordCamp too!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Look closely at the camel\u2019s saddle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s covered in <strong>bright red and orange patterns<\/strong>, <strong>colorful borders, decorative details,<\/strong> and a beautiful <strong>WordPress logo<\/strong> right in the center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We absolutely love this little detail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The camel brings the Rajasthani side of the story, while the WordPress logo brings in the community we\u2019re all here to celebrate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Together, they create a simple but meaningful connection between <strong>Rajasthan and WordPress.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And if you ask us, this camel looks quite ready for WordCamp too! \ud83d\udc2a<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Look at Those Details!<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The camel\u2019s decorations don\u2019t stop at the saddle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It also has colorful decorative bands around its neck and head, along with a decorated bridle and reins. The patterns and colors complement Wapuu Sa\u2019s outfit, making the two look like they belong together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It feels almost as if Wapuu Sa and his camel have just arrived from a Rajasthani celebration and decided to drop by WordCamp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u0905\u0930\u0947 \u0935\u093e\u0939, Wapuu Sa! \u0915\u094d\u092f\u093e \u092c\u093e\u0924 \u0939\u0948! <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When Rajasthan Meets WordPress<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And that\u2019s what makes this Wapuu special.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s not simply a mascot wearing traditional clothes. The design brings together two very different but equally important parts of this event:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>the spirit of Rajasthan and the spirit of WordPress.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The colorful pagdi, traditional-inspired clothing, earrings, mojari-style shoes, mustache, and camel bring Rajasthan into the design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The WordPress logo, meanwhile, reminds us of the community, creativity, collaboration, and open-source spirit that bring us together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Put them together, and you get Wapuu Sa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>A little bit Rajasthani. A little bit WordPress. And completely ready for WordCamp Rajasthan! \ud83d\udc99<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A Special Wapuu for a Special WordCamp<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This isn\u2019t just another WordCamp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>It&#8217;s the first-ever WordCamp Rajasthan.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That makes Wapuu Sa a small but important part of our community\u2019s history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wapuus have become a beloved part of WordCamps around the world, with communities creating their own versions inspired by their local culture, people, traditions, and surroundings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now, it\u2019s Rajasthan\u2019s turn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We wanted our Wapuu to feel warm, colorful, welcoming, and connected to the place where we&#8217;re bringing the WordPress community together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And that\u2019s exactly what we see in Wapuu Sa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">From a Community Call to Wapuu Sa<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This Wapuu also represents our community\u2019s creativity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When we announced the Call for Wapuu Design, we invited designers, illustrators, artists, and Wapuu fans to imagine what the WordCamp Rajasthan Wapuu could look like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We asked you to bring your creativity to the table and give Wapuu a Rajasthani touch. And now, that idea has become a reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A big thank you to everyone who participated and shared their creativity with us.
